Awal tahu resto ini dari google map search, karena bosan dengan makanan hawker deket rumah akhirnya saya iseng search keyword vegetarian dan ketemu lah Miao Yi Vegetarian yang letaknya beberapa ratus meter dari rumah, setelah ditelusuri jalurnya kok adanya malah Zhen Yi Vegetarian πŸ€” Cek lagi nomor bloknya bener kok… Petanya juga bener, sinyal juga lagi bagus jadi harusnya akurat… Setelah liat review user di google map, Miao Yi Vegetarian sudah berubah nama jadi Zhen Yi Vegetarian rupanyaa…

Menu pertama yang saya coba adalah Roasted Chicken Rice, karena saya penggemar vegetarian chicken rice ditambah dengan rekomendasi dari salah satu user google map, dan memang enak buaaangeeet… Bisa dibilang ini adalah vege chicken rice paling ok di singapur yang pernah saya coba sejauh ini πŸ˜‹

Selain menu set ada untuk zicar juga, tapi karena saya biasanya datang sendiri/berdua jadi ga pernah coba.

Meskipun harganya murah ($4 – $7) tapi tempat makannya nyaman, ber-ac dan didekor seperti cafe.

Menu yang paling kita suka pastinya si chicken rice, sisanya juga ok tapi hanya saya pesan kalau chicken rice-nya lagi habis hihihi…

Ming Shan Vegetarian (ζ˜Žε–„οΌ‰- Tanjong Pagar

This place really deserve a post, it’s my saviour, an oasis in the desert… Hm.. Ok i think it’s too much 😜

  
Although there are couples of vegetarian restaurants in Tanjong Pagar area, but Ming Shan is the only place which is nearest to my office and have enormous choice of vegetable/faux meat, they taste nice too (well.. According my taste buds though). When i bored with the mixed rice, i can order ala carte menu such as Hokkian mie, kway chap, Yu Mian, and many more. Thanks to them i don’t have to sacrifice an hour of my morning sleep to cook :p

Expect long queue during lunch time but worry not cos’ the uncle and aunties there serve very fast so the queue move very fast as well, although i still recommend to take away as the seat often full. I like to take away and eat at office as it’s more comfortable also (aircon!)

You can see that the portion is very generous despite the cheap price, mixed rice is varies from SGD 3-4 with 3 choices of veggies/faux meat. 

At last… Please bear in mind that this review is very subjective, but compare to other hawker food that i’ve tried for its taste – Ming Shan is one of my favourite.

Resep: Mille Crepes

 Mille crepes atau crepes cake adalah salah satu (dari sekian banyak 😜) dessert  favorit saya, menyantapnya menimbulkan kebahagiaan tersendiri buat saya hihi #lebay, tapi ya ga lebay juga sih karena harga per slicenya ga murah jadi ya memang jarang-jarang saya rela beli si crepes cake ini.

Saking sukanya saya pun berniat membuatnya sendiri, apalagi ketika adik saya menemukan resep mille crepes versi Eugenie Kitchen yang terlihat sangat mudah dan sederhana, tapi selama ini urung dibuat karena belum punya mixer.

Akhirnya resep ini berhasil saya coba setelah saya beli mixer bulan lalu cihuyyy…

Well… Ga bisa dibilang berhasil sih huhuhu… Ya namanya juga baker amatir, untuk bahan saya akui memang sederhana, tapi cara membuat crepes yang tipis itu yang susah, crepes yang saya buat ukurannya beda-beda dengan ketebalan yang berbeda pula, dengan teflon 18cm yang berhasil saya selamatkan cuma 15 lbr 5×10 😝. Kalau di video eugenie menujukkan cara makan mille crepesnya digulung dengan garpu, punya saya ga bisa dong karena terlalu tebal hahaha… Untung saja rasanya masih cukup enak untuk dimakan, yah apa aja enak kalo dikasih oreo 😜

Hu Babbling: Happy April

Maret-April ini judulnya adalah bulan akhir penantian.
Di bulan maret lalu somehow i was very lucky, pas iseng cek tanggal e-appointment pas nemu ada beberapa tanggal yang available di april dan mei (initial date in July ’16 btw), jadilah akhirnya april ini bisa submit PR application. Kan en semua aplikasi lengkap tidak ada yang kurang, padahal udah deg-degan abis pas submit, takut ada aja yang kurang. Sekarang lanjut ke penantian berikutnya, tapi penantian ini deadlinenya masih lama dan harus super pasrah pada kehendak YMK dan ICA 😜

Masih di bulan maret, akhirnya ada juga perusahaan yang mau menerima karyawan foreigner dengan LOC (karena rata-rata perusahaan tidak aware dengan LOC ini dan masih prefer singaporean/PR). Setelah melalui 2 kali interview dilanjutkan dengan proses LOC dari MOM, awalnya saya pede jaya karena HR-nya juga yakin akan diapprove dalam seminggu, ternyata nasib berkata lain dan saya harus merasakan digantung lagi 😭. Perasaan sudah ga karuan selama menunggu (lebih parah rasanya daripada digantung gebetan) sampai-sampai sudah pasrah bila direject, lalu akhirnyaaa setelah 2 minggu uring-uringan telp yang ditunggu tiba juga, LOC diapprove! Hurray! Bukan main leganya.

Akhirnya sekarang kembali lagi aktif bekerja, yang ternyata ga mudah euy, karena jam tubuh harus melakukan banyak penyesuaian, pengangguran yang biasanya bangun siang tidur pagi sekarang harus bangun pagi dan tidur sore, but hey i’m not complaining and really grateful for it 😊 Jia You Hu!

I’m in Love

… with Chen Bo Lin (ι™³ζŸιœ–οΌ‰

Hahahhaah…

Eversince i saw him in Twins Effect in 2004 (oh my it was 12 years ago!), i like him right away, he is different from the other chinese actor, not too thin or fat, dark skin, and his smile plus those dimple 😍😍😍

Eventhough i like him but i don’t really watch all of his movie because i am not a big fans of hongkong/taiwan movie. That’s why i am so happy when there’s news that he will be in chinese version of we got married (ζˆ‘ε€‘η›Έζ„›ε§), what makes me even more happier is he will be couple with Song Ji Hyo! Both are my favourite! Yaaay!!! (Many acclamation to show how excited i am!)

The first episode aired on 20 march, i have watched episode 1-2, and i like it very much! Both of them make me feels like teenager again hahaha… 

Song Ji Hyo just looks the same like she was in Running Man (just way more prettier), thank goodness she did not act cute, partly maybe because she is older than Bo Lin 😝, seeing her in this show makes me like her more 😁😁😁

As for Chen Bo Lin, i never saw him in variety show so don’t know how he would look like (yeah not quite loyal fans 😜). He looks really cool in this show, lovable, charming, manly and just the right amount of handsomness 😍😍, most important is – ga sok kegantengan (i don’t know how to say it in english hahaha). But i do curious-why he likes candles so much??? Go to england and bring back a luggage full of candles instead? That is super weird πŸ€”

I know it just a show and not real relationship, however they are really really nice and fun to watch, even better than any k-drama, for me they are the best we got married couple i ever watch 😁
